I want to create a simple notepad style display where I have posts (notes) with no title. Its just a textarea field and a date field. I want people be able to comment on those notes.

Problem is, when I go the select box link in the comments section, there is no option to connect them. Is there a way to connect the two without a text-input field?

Can you link the two on the Date field?

Nope. Nothing shows up from from the Notes section.

You can always link on the system id. I assume you are making the comments from the frontend, so the actual link doesn’t need to show on the users.

You can make the notes output their system id, and use that as a hidden field in the form.

Yeah, use either the System ID Field extension or the Reflection Field extension. I had a similar problem myself recently…
