Where did 'Preferences' go in the 2.0?

After installing a fresh copy of 2.0, I realize that preferences are for things that have been turned into extensions.
... but, where do you change the date format and name of your site? Manually edit the config file?

Unused (or useless) preferences have been removed or relocated to /manifest/config.php.
Found my answer. You must edit the config!

This may be a dumb question, but the System/Preferences menu in the admin area vanished after I upgraded from r5 to 2.0. Is that supposed to happen? Where do I set my site name and date format? :-/
