Symphony.

Hello,

My client asked me to extend his with a simple support system. His company rents offices to companies and he would like that his clients can file simple reuqests (i.e. cleaning or geneal maintenance) through a web interface.

Do you think it’s possible to implement that with Symphony? His main site runs on Symphony.

What I’m not sure about is:

1. Is there a way that I can let him create new users without giving him administrative rights?
2. Can I restrict these new users to edit only one page (filing requests)?
3. Can I use Symphony to send out an email once a new request has been filed?

1 and 2 are both possible with members extension. Michael said a stable version would be released in a month or so. As far as I know, bauhouse fork of the current release is the most stable version around.

Point 3 would be easily accomplished creating a simple Send Mail event, maybe with a bit of validation of input data.
