Symphony.

I Am very new about Symphony CMS.I face a problem ,please replay if u know details.

Is symphony CMS Support Unicode? i tried many time to insert Unicode language But its shows ” ???????????????????????????????” this types of sign , why it shows ? is this my installation problem or Symphony CMS don’t Support Unicode ? please tell me details.

We’ve had similar problems before.

You have to make sure that your database and all tables’ character_set as well as their collation are set to utf8_general_ci.

Afaik, the default collation for creating databases is latin1_swedish_ci. If you change it to utf8_general_ci before installing Symphony, all following tables will be in unicode too.
