Hi all,

Installation on my local test webserver (XAMPP, PHP 5.2.9) seems to have gone fine using Git, but logging in merely takes me back to the login page.

If I enter an incorrect username or password, I am informed they are incorrect. If I insert the correct ones, I arrive back at the same place with no message.

I found this discussion but that’s not the problem - I have that PHP setting set.

There are no errors logged in either Apache’s error log or Symphony’s log.

The sym_sessions table does have entries containing my username and encrypted password.

One note: my “domain” is dev-sitename (without .com or .net etc.) - that shouldn’t be a problem, should it?

Thanks for any help.

That was indeed a problem. :) Changed the vhost name to dev-sitename.net and I’m in.
