Greetings

I just found out about Symphony CMS and I have to say this looks very promising. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to test it. Im getting a 403 on the admin page. This happens as soon as I install Symphony. Im using Mamp to work on my local host, I tried changing the file permission but I haven’t had any success with this. Im lost since this is my first time using this CMS. If anyone has response regarding this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Is [this}(http://getsymphony.com/discuss/thread/24044/) helpful? MAMP has been troublesome for some folks in the past.

What’s your .htaccess look like? Are you sure mod_rewrite is enabled?

I had a similar issue but i am trying to install using XAMPP on localhost. I thought the mod_rewrite was on the php.ini file?

mod_rewrite is an apache module.
