Why when I use {$root} inside an attribute “href” in my masterl.xsl the result is expected, the string that is in the /?debug=params is written in HTML. But when I use {$this-year} it’s don’t writes into an element of “p” is necessary to use: for result “2011” in HTML.

The XSLT only parser into HTML elements? Somebody can explain?

Thanks! PS: I’m trying my first project w/ Symphony.

The curly brace syntax is only for use in attributes. If you want to write the value of something inside an element (not an attribute) then use XSLT’s value-of.

Thanks, Nick. So I’m correct way =)
