I have just created my first custom event based on info found in this thread, it works greats, by the way thanks for the info!

But now I'm wondering if it is possible to attach a filter to a custom event, for instance the XSS filter? And if so what would this look like?

I couldn't find info on this so far...

The best thing to do is create a normal event (with a filter) and look at the PHP. Event filters should just be an array (near the top of the file) that you can copy into your custom event.

Well thanks a lot! I guess I could have figured that out. I just thought it would be way more complicated.
