Eep, sounds like a PHP error is killing your page. Try adding this to the top of your root .htaccess to turn on error reporting.
php_flag display_errors on
Gives this:

Are you using the lastest version of the extension?
I'm using the one bundled with 2.0.1.
Can I use PHPMyAdmin to disable maintanence mode in the meantime this is solved?

I was just enabling Maintenance mode using the extension. And am now not able to use the backend. All I get is an empty, white page when trying to.
What to do?
