How to set default image , either using the front end event or from from the back end

am using version 2.1.2

while user registration the user should have default image stored in the database how to achieve this in symphony ?

You could set the path to this image in the event that creates a new member. But storing the default seems kind of redundant. In the past I have opted to check for existence of an image using XSLT and then show a default if none exists.

another help how to store image with random name in symphony ?

a random filename? check out michael's unique upload field if you're looking to avoid name conflicts. otherwise, his code could easily be modified to do what you're looking for.
