here's a noob question

How can I achieve multiple posts to appear on front page, and how can I set to show various number of them.

Let's say if I want last 4 or 5 articles to show on front page, how would I do that?

I don't recall exactly how the default blog site works, but you will want to edit the Data Source that gets the homepage articles. I think there is a Data Source (Blueprints > Components) called Homepage Article? Look for the "Show a maximum of..." field in there.

oh yeah. that's so swell and easy. thanks a lot! :-)

It's the Symphony way ;-)

FYI: Careful with images associated with those posts. The default theme doesn't handle multiple posts with images. You will have to change the images datasource to handle that.

MrBlank - can you tell me more about it. How to change it, what modifications should I make?

I was wrong, you have to write some new XSLT to handle the multiple posts with images on the homepage.
