Anyone who can tell me how to modify the .htaccess so robots.txt can be enabled? Thanks

There is no need to modify your .htaccess. Simply put in your robots.txt and everything should be fine as the mod_rewrite rules will respect existing files.

What do you mean with 'enabled': can't you access the file?

It seems to work fine with my default .htaccess Just add a robots.txt file to the root of your site, no?

edit: yeah, what Nils said ;)

Hmm, maybe the simplest solution would be to duplicate the ### DO NOT APPLY RULES WHEN REQUESTING "favicon.ico" rules for .robots.txt?
