Symphony-cms fans,

I'm a freelance webdeveloper and I discovered Symphony-cms almost 1 year ago. I was programming in .net for years, and was specialising more and more in IT for development so i had to switch to opensource, because a .net web application is too slow in Africa, too complicated, too much additional downloads,..

I have been using Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, but Symphony-cms is the solution for Africa. I am promoting the use of Symphony in the countries where i have be on mission: Niger, Sao Tome and Principe and i'm planning to go back soon to form local teams how to make good sites and be able to have a good job.

Is anyone of the Symphony-cms users active in Africa, would be great to exchange experiences.

Wannes

I'm not in Africa, but I just wanted to say that's a mighty noble thing you're doing and I'm glad Symphony able to help you help others! Good stuff!

I don't know of any active African users, there is a number registered for South Africa though that might be a nice starting point?
