How does Required URL Parameter work?

I entered in "publications-and-bookshop/bookshop/" as a parameter but it shows up no matter what. i am positive i am going about it all wrong.

If You mean the one in data source configuration, then enter it like this:

$name_of_parameter

I may be wrong, but i think that You can enter only one parameter as required this way.

You can find names of available parameters by debugging page (URL of page + "?debug").

I can’t figure it out either!
