How does Symphony handle caching for XSLT?

I guess that can be broken down into two questions: 1) Does Symphony cache the resulting stylesheet? 2) Is XSLT capable of caching partial fragments?

Hi Brady asked a very similar question recently here according to Nick Dunn XSLT shouldn't be the thing that slows down the website more of datasources. However if you want complete page caching there is an extension: CacheLite. I am currently working on a Datasource Cacher to improve upon cacheableDatasource should be released later this week/early next making some final tweaks.
