Finally got off my arse and released this very simple extension.

Thanks, works great. However, when submitted from the frontend, the value is apparently not set. How can I make that work?

I'm not sure. Basically, this field duplicates the Number Field, which extends the core Field class. If someone knows how to manipulate the frontend submission, I'll happily code it in.

I think I used the 1.0.0 zip file. The fix works fine, thanks!
