Search

My work is looking to create a site (hopefully with Symphony) that would allow users to create posts on the site from a user-generated form with custom fields.

For example, one of the form inputs might be "I ran X times this week." They would select the # of times they ran and other custom fields and when they submit the form it would update that content directly on the main site with an RSS feed that would be able to notify people of new postings.

Sounds pretty simple but could use some help getting started. Thanks!

Try a base install and look at the options when creating a section then spit it out to RSS, but learn about it here. Honestly, if u can run thru these tutorials a few times, you'll have no trouble.

I def like that ur lookin @ symphony homee :)

Thanks man! How hard is it to pass a custom form to the user that could be styled and abstracted away from the Admin interface to allow them to post content?

Very easy, run thru the tutorials
