I fresh installed Symphony-CMS 2.2.5 and everything went fine.

I have hit the main site, but when I try to hit symphony/ or about/ or archive, I get a not found or a directory listing.

I think this has to do with my .htaccess. It is stock, what symphony put there, no changes

Can anyone see what is going on?

UPDATE: Yes, the Rewritebase is correct as:

RewriteBase /people/brady/thezoneredesign_v2

I want to host multiple symphony sites on my laptop and I have an organizational structure that makes sense for me!

Sounds as though mod-rewrite isn't working on your server. If mod-rewrite is installed and working, try changing your AllowOverride value in your Apache config.

Thanks Nick. AllowOverride was the issue. Somehow it was none.

No probs! Glad it's all fixed.
