I've been breaking my head on this strange issue for quite some time now.

I have a section 'Homes' which contains a Subsection Manager (SSM) field with Image entries.

On a certain Home entry ('home1') I have two images in the SSM already. When my client wanted to add a third image to home1 through the SSM it did not show up on the image gallery on the HTML page.

First I thought it must have been a cache issue but it is not: If I delete an image it is removed directly from the HTML gallery. I can also re-add one of those original two images.

For some reason only those two images on home1 show up on the resulting HTML gallery.

  • It is not a Symphony cache issue
  • There are no log (warning) messages
  • New images added to the SSM are saved correctly in the db!
  • All the image permissions etc. are equal/correct
  • The XSLT gallery template is correct, other home entries show more than 2 images

What more can I look into? Why would this particular entry not display more (or other) than those 2 original SSM images?

Env:

  • Symphony 2.2.1
  • SSM 1.1.1

Could there be issue with PHP?

Try testing on Google Chrome, press F12 to open up developer tool and select Network tab, reload the page and find if any error was produce on each files somewhere at the bottom of the "Name" list.
