Need to confirm more testing on Symphony 2.3 RC3 and IE.

Installed on a new webspace and it appear that only IE9? couldn't display 404 page correctly with The webpage cannot be found:

Index: http://allamericanservices.name/symphony/
404 page: http://allamericanservices.name/symphony/anything

No htaccess or other error pages directive has been set.

This may be caused by the fact that your page is completely invalid:

<!DOCTYPE h1 PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<h1>Test page type: 404</h1>

Send it to a vaildator and you will see that it's not what it pretends to be (i.e. XHTML), mainly because to has no <head> nor <body> element. So the browser may decide what to do with that. Obviously IE9 decides to not render it.

My bad, it require HTML element for IE to render.
