I have setted up a section with a textbox field and imported into it a lot of entries with xml importer extension. All values importer are comma separated, something like tags. If I change the type of this field to tag field and I keep the same name of the field will the values remain in place ? Or is there any way to not redo the importing as it is a huge database ? Thanks !

You will have to edit the database directly for that to work I'm afraid. It's not just a matter of ensuring that the field type has changed, the schema for the data table will have to also be changed.
