Spaces in page parameters translated to + in search strings problem

If you are filtering on a title, it's normally best to take the handle of the title in the url (look at the xml to know what I mean). The datasource is smart enough to recognise a handle if you are using one, and it will work just fine:)
Spaces in the handle will be converted to a dash (-) which looks better and won't break.

Newbie question: Spaces in page parameters get translated into '+''s in search strings on my installation (standard xampp) so that filters on titles with spaces fail. Any help appreciated!
