Symphony.

I seemed to have succesfully installed symphony locally using XAMPP but when I followed the link to log in, the URL displays http://overground.local/symphony and the browser displays a 404 error.

If I try to login by directing the browser to http://overground.local/index.php?mode=administration I get the log in page appear normally but when I do log in it redirects to http://overground.local/symphony/login/ and displays another 404 error.

Might anyone have any thoughts about what's going on here? Any help greatly appreciated!

You likely need to enable mod_rewrite (uncomment the line in httpd.conf and restart the server)
