Description

Le début d'une rêve-olution! We recently teamed up with Art Direction agency Egelnick and Webb on this project for boutique t-shirt designer Fifi Lafayette. We responded to Fifi’s challenge to bring their site to life by making their homepage the hub of all their online activity. The site uses a Symphony CMS to aggregate all their social feeds into one calendar of tweets, videos, images and blog posts.

Nice site! This is a nice example of lifestreaming, I'd be interested to know how you've aggregated and sorted each stream by date.

Thanks Fazal - we initially tried using Yahoo Pipes after reading a tip on the forums here. But in the end found it to be unreliable as it would often drop a feed or respond too slowly, making for very slow page load times. In the end we found the quickest way to deliver the content to the user was to serve up cached content. We created several php cron jobs to cache the various feeds and used the xsl:sort tag to display them by date order.
