Slight tweak to rainer’s commit, but otherwise fine.

I think this has been discussed before, but am compiling this message offline so cannot search right now.
A Select Box should have the ability to be required (“Make this a required field”) just like any other field. By default it would be optional (and have a blank option at the top of the list?).
