When the URL-parameter
symphony-pageis empty, it causes Symphony to return a 404 error instead of displaying the default ‘index’-page.The case of sending an empty
symphony-page-URL parameter could happen when using the multilanguage extension or any other extension that makes some modifications to the .htaccess-file.You can try it by going to
[yoursite]/index.php?symphony-page=
