This is such a nice to have that I don’t think it’s ever going to happen. We only have to fork once in a blue moon so this isn’t a necessity.
This issue is closed.
Forum threads can get long. To fork ‘em I currently have to create a new discussion thread myself, log into the backend and assign the new thread to that member, then find the comment to form and assign it to the new thread (by modifying the ID using Firebug in the backend and resaving).
A “Fork as new discussion” for admins button would be dead handy and would encourage more threads to be forked.
