Closed#6: Automated dates in extension announcements

Automated extension announcements in the forum will use the current date and not the date of the release (which has been set in the extension admin area).

This is a tricky one. Initially you could not set a release date. Instead, when you changed the version number, the current date is used to update the release date. We have since added in a date field which can be set manually. If, however, you change the version, the release date specified is overwritten with the current date, and an announcement made.

I believe this automated behaviour should be removed and instead it is up to the extension author to correctly specify a release date. The announcement will use this too.
