I had a client with a set of images, the filenames of which all started TBL_ (e.g. TBL_01.jpg).

Once these had uploaded, they were stored in the database with filenames that started with sym_ (although the files themselves were not renamed to start with sym_).

This resulted in broken image links on the front-end.

I imagine this has to do with something like TBL_ being a specific reserved prefix for Symphony's database table structure, and the obvious solution is just to make sure that filenames don't start with TBL_. But short of telling my clients to avoid having their files named that way, is there another way of fixing this bug?

That's definitely a bug in the way data is changed for the database, can you log it on github please.

Cheers.

In short, no, not at the moment.
