How does this differ from the Repeating Date Field extension? This may be something we consider using for ChurchDeploy.

First of all, I was having difficulty with the Repeating Date Field working with 2.3.3 and not having it conflict with other extensions and since no one is really keeping the extension up to date, I needed to find a way to get repeat dates. This utility basically allows you to repeat dates with XSLT and not depend on database query to repeat your dates.

Assuming that is more efficient than DB queries.

Server Requirements

  • PHP 5.3-5.6 or 7.0-7.3
  • PHP's LibXML module, with the XSLT extension enabled (--with-xsl)
  • MySQL 5.5 or above
  • An Apache or Litespeed webserver
  • Apache's mod_rewrite module or equivalent
