Hello there, did anyone have success with running a live install (in my case v.2.2.5) on innodb?

I'm having some concurrency issues (slow while saving in the cms), and I figure innodb could help. I was planning to convert all tables to innodb except the ones that are indexed with the search index plugin, would that work?
