Symphony.

Hello friends i am not able to install Symphony .

Error : Symphony needs an XSLT processor such as LibXSLT or Sablotron to build pages.

How it's possible..?

Hi there. You need to install PHP’s libxslt library. How you do that depends on your operating system.

LibXSLT is, in my experience, normally installed by default. Are you attempting to instal Symphony on a server or on your local machine? You may be able to ask your host to install the library.

I have had run ins with a few hosting providers who don't support LibXSLT by default. Depending on your setup, you could just get in touch with your provider and see if they will switch it on for you. Some shared hosting providers require more than a little persuasion to get this done however...

If not, follow Nathans and Davids advice by looking into installing it on your local system. I believe it comes as standard with packages such as XAMPP (Windows) and MAMP (Mac).
