I forgot about one of the possible requirements I’m going to be asked for in the next couple of days; an application form on the frontend with the ability to attach a file and email the submitted form to the admin.
Has anyone done this before? I essentially just want the same as a section upload field but visible to the public. I’m hoping all the controls and functions exist already, I hate writing upload scripts!

You can submit an entry (with all of the fields) using an Event. Go to Blueprints > Components and create a new event from the section into which you want to capture data. The event page will even give you example HTML for your form!

As for attaching the file itself, I don’t think this is possible without some custom code.
