Updated from 1.7 to the new beta.

How can I reconnect with my database. I had no .htaccess file to backup, yet I did the update, and got "Fatal error: Could not find database driver 'MySQL' in /www/www/symphony/update.php on line 43".

Can I reconnect to my database somehow?

Should I reinstall completely. It was a test install, not much content so far.

You can't update from 1.7 to 2. the db structure is completely different. you'll need to start s2 from scratch.

I'll dive into 2 and see what I can learn. I don't understand much, but every so often the light bulb glows.
