Does anyone have a Web host they'd like to recommend?

I'm currently working with a non-profit and taking advantage of DreamHost's free non-profit hosting and it's awful. Email is always down or slow and the site is down a hell of a lot. I'm at my wits end. I've hosted with them for years with no problems and since the end of last year it's been nothing but problems. :-(

Anyway, if anyone has a good one to recommend, I'd appreciate it! Thanks.

I currently host at BlueHost, doesn't cause me any troubles

I used to have a client at BlueHost, and was generally pleased. Right now I host all my sites (and most of my client sites) with MediaTemple.

I use jodohost (lowest-level reseller $35) and it's fine. Only complaint is that their server side email filtering is pretty much useless, but that's negligible.

I'd have to recommend SliceHost -- it's perfect if you want to have complete control over your slice, and priced well compared to shared hosting.

to add to rowanjl's point, you need to know what you're doing for Slicehost though since you're starting literally from a barebones server. definitely wasn't my style =)
