Symphony.

Need to import Excel file to symphony on regular basis. That is my customer’s price list is in excel and he wants to upload data say once a week rewriting the previously entered entries.

I’ve seen a couple of topics but still has some questions. Has anyone succeded and if so how was it achieved?

Probably will be doing the same thing myself. Indeed has been mentioned I think ftp uploading as xml and working with it as dynamic DS is best. Question remains how to get cruft free xml out of excel, some untested options;

• export as xmlss
• adding xml schema to a workbook in your application
• using a macro in your application
