I moved from Symphony 1 to 2 just now. I have my Datasources and Sections and Pages setup all nice. BUT I want to edit an entry I have made (n the content area of the backend). I can not select it and edit the TextField like I used to. I can only change SelectBox data…

I do not want to delete and create it from scratch. I just want to change a Text value. how do I do that?

Thanks

I’m not sure that I understand your question, but I’m using 2.0.6 and I just click the title of the content entry and an edit form opens.

That is what I was expecting. I can click but it only gets selected in the list.

I think only text fields or textareas can act as links to the edit form. Have you tried enabling the “show in column” checkbox in the Section editor?

The first column is usually linked. Try re-arranging the order of your fields so that a Text Input field is first in the “Main” column.

nick thanks, thats it. :)
