I upgraded my Symphony install from I believe 2.0.3 to 2.0.7 and now the select boxes are no longer displayed in the order I put the static values. They are now alphabetized. I don’t mind that but is there anyway to select a default value for them?

For example, I have a select box with the options ‘None’, ‘Column’, and ‘Spots’, and I want ‘None’ to be selected by default. It used to be possible because ‘None’ is entered first on the list of static options, but now it’s alphabetized and ‘Column’ becomes the default.

There has been a discussion about this, but I don’t find it at the moment. As far as I remember, this was changed some time ago, but I don’t think that this is a good solution. (I think the motivation was to have a useful order of static and dynamic options.) Actually I think that this should be discussed deeper. In German it’s even worse: the alphabetical order doesn’t work properly.
