Hi friends,

@vignesh - Did you have a question or a post you wanted to make?

I think the Symphony community would greatly benefit if there where a few practical XSLT tutorials (in the Symphony context) for new users which highlight the strengths of Symphony.

In my personal experience a few years back when I first discovered Symphony, I know that getting a hang of XSLT was the biggest hurdle. After trying Symphony for a couple of days, I left looking for another CMS that offered the same customization ability (custom content types and fields anyone?). I didn’t find anything that I liked that matched Symphony, so I came back. Through trial and error over a period of time, I learned XSLT which made developing sites much easier. /rant

Anyway, XSLT tutorials would be good.

I started a discussion here about two months ago on the same subject. Several people liked my idea in one form or another but nothing came of it. I started a tech blog where I write a beginner’s tutorial occasionally.
