Hello everyone!

We have sym 2.1.2 installed. I created very simple section consisted of one text field. The problem is that if we add cyrrilic text into the entry field and make the section STATIC (using static section extension) we get very strange encoding problem. Though in DB everything is fine and encoding in meta is utf-8 we get very obscure output results.

The contents of text area and button title, and all the thing that are cyrrilic get the same currupted view.

I added a screenshot in order to make the situation clear.

May be it’s Static section extesion related problem but we get it only using with 2.1.2

What can be wrong?

that’s the file

the problem is also present for 2.0.1 2.1.1 either

What happens when you

  1. disable the static sections functionality
  2. disable the WYSIWYG editor?

solved by adding one more field into section

solved by adding one more field into section

this sounds even weirder than the problem you had in the first place. :-)

Seriously. What happens when you add a third field? Anything?

You have a JavaScript error in your screenshot. What is it? Could it be a language pack you have installed?
