I’m finally digging into the Symphony tutorials, and I have to say that I’m wildly impressed at the elegance of the system. This is flipping awesome!

Although I’m a graphic designer, I’m more of a server guy, building my own and running a hosting business. I roll my own servers because I don’t like control panels and hate the complexity of most CMS systems. Things should be minimalist, fast and cruft-free for security and ease of maintenance. Symphony is all that, and beautiful too.

XSLT is a bit intimidating at first, but I’m getting my head around it. In the meantime, I’m overjoyed to find Symphony, the first CMS that allows me to do -exactly- what I want, and nothing more.

Well done, gang! Bravo!
