Search

I’m having some problem using the Search Index extension with Swedish characters. No entries are found, when it’s supposed to find at least three of them, while using Firefox or IE. But in Chrome it works fine for some unknown reasons.

I’m quite sure that the problem isn’t located within Search Index extenssion. But what I can see is that it’s some kind of charset conflict somewhere. I’ve attach two screenshots of what I can reveal in debug mode, both in Firefox and in Chrome.

All the Swedish characters works except the value in $url-q.

Do you have any clues of where I can locate the problem?

Thanks in advance

Debug mode in Firefox (error) Debug mode in Chrome (correct)

Just to make everything clear. Yes, the browser used in the Firefox screenshot is Firefox 4 b10. But it’s of course also tested in Firefox 3.6.13, with the same results.
