Just would like to know if there is any news on Symphony 3 release? I am very much like database backend of S3 ...

Seems GIT repo changed for S3? Can not find it now. :(

I think the only thing you are likely to hear is sometime next year. Start using 2.2; a lot of people worked really hard to make this new version happen.

Lewis, thanks for your reply. Actually the only thing I need in 2.2 is the meaningful table names, which are already in S3...

Any planning that future 2.X will refine this part? That will really helpful when integrating with other systems.

Depending on what you're trying to achieve creating an XML-API could be another possibility.
