Hello,

I'm happy to say that my first Symphony website is now online :-)

But I've stumbled upon several problems - one of which is the following:

My client wants to have the ability to have some users (Contributors / Editors) create new and edit existing content which is then saved in the backend but is not yet published in the frontend - until another user (the Admin / Publisher) verifies it.

I've looked around in the forums and the most promising solution seems to be to add an additional checkbox to the section (e.g. "Published") and only display those entries on the frontend where the box is checked. I've found this extension, therefore I hope that it will be possible to limit the publishing to some chosen users only.

However, this solution does only apply for new content. What about existing entries or static pages? Is there any possibility to enforce a similar publishing workflow with existing entries?

Regards,
Mark
