Hi everybody,

I want to make a website which allow each user to create their own portfolio+ to post news within their profile page.

Any advices about how to achieve that using Symphony ?

Cheers !

This wouldn't be very difficult to achieve. But it sounds like you want each portfolio to be its own "site"?

I'd use the Members extension (forthcoming; presently in beta). A "profile" would be their user account (an entry created when they register), and you would let them create entries in Portfolio and News sections, via frontend forms (events).

Thanks for your answers !

@czheng Actually i don't want it to be a separate website, just sth clean users can use as their own portfolio to show their work. So i need a clean URL >> "www.website.com/people/username" or sth like that

@nickdunn Sounds good ! I'll try it soon.

Sth else: do you think it is possible to let users edit css for their profile page ?

Thanks again

long life to Symphony :)
