Suddenly, my completely working Symphony 2.2 install stopped allowing any authors to sign in to the backend.

I made no changes to configuration, neither of Symphony nor the server. No extensions changes, etc.

On the sign in page, submission simply fails with no error message. It seems to not be redirecting. I've tried clearing the sessions from the database but that made no difference.

What course of action can I take to sniff out the problem or fix it?

Any input at all?

I've tried across multiple browsers and operating systems; cleared cookies; dumped session data; nothing works.

The login page gives no feedback at all. Even if I enter an incorrect password the page seemingly just refreshes.

Thanks for any insights!

Very odd. It was working fine, and stopped without anyone making changes? Is there anything telling in your manifest/logs?

Doesn't appear to be. The only errors in my logs are requests for a non-existant robots.txt.

I imagine it must be a problem with mediatemple since two Symphony installs on the same account stopped working simultaneously with no changes on my end.
