I'm looking into using Symphony for a project that involves managing playlists. Each playlist has:

  • a name, author and a few other descriptive fields
  • a variable number of 'tracks' where a 'track' is defined by an artist, song title and a link

Ideally I would like a single Section with the name, author etc at the top and the tracks arranged in a 3-column table below. I would need the ability to add/remove tracks and maybe re-order them too.

Is this something that Symphony could handle? What would be the best way to model it? I'm up for doing some extension work if necessary.

The Dynamic Text Group extension can help here. The videos Brock created use a very similar use case.

Thanks, this looks like just what I need. I missed it when looking through the extensions.
