Hello, I've got a problem with my data source.

Although my article gets 2 comments, the attribute "comments" of the entry node is still at 0.

What's wrong ?

Rancky, do you know which version of Symphony you're using? As far as I can remember, this was a bug with Symphony 2.0.1. The latest version 2.0.2 (along with the latest Select Box Link field v1.9) should remedy this.

The way to check:

  • look in /manifest/config.php for the symphony array, then the version key
  • look in /extensions/selectboxlinkfield/extension.driver.php and look for version at the top

If you're not using v2.0.2 and v1.9 respectively, upgrading should solve your problems.

Ok, that's it !

Updating to 2.0.2 solved the problem.

However, the unpublished comments are counted in the “comments” attribute…

Yes — the count just counts the number of entries in the related section. This is by design. If you need count the number of entries in a related section and filter them by additional fields, you will need to create a second data source, filtering on an Output Parameter from the first data source.
