New site: Should I use 2.3 or 2.2?

2.2.5.
2.3 hasn't been released yet, and will probably break a ton of extensions, so you should wait for an official release and extensions to be patched. You will be able to update 2.2.5 to 2.3 when the time comes, so long as you update broken extensions too.
