I’m looking for the most elegant way to find an ulr inside a text and convert it to an HTML link so that, for example, http://www.google.com/ would be automatically converted into a link to google.com

I’ve found some solutions online but they all seems a little messy to me. I’m sure there must be some Ninja out there that has a better solution.
